I found Crewdson's work to be very interesting. The settings of his works seem to be very creepy still frames, but also look like places you would see in everyday life. It seems like time stops dead. The images seem haunting and use people and lighting to display his messages. They make you wonder why the people are in those settings and what they are thinking. The frames seem intimate like they were not meant to be seen. They all have a sense of gloom to them and are also eye catching.

The works done by Hocks seem to project hidden and non hidden images. His works seem to have a very distinct type of humor in them. I enjoy the color styles he uses and I really appreciate his techniques. His work seems somewhat whimsical and it makes you think.

I really enjoyed the works by Jeff Wall. One of my favorites of what I've seen is The Destroyed Room. I liked it because even though the room is completely destroyed it still gives a sense of homeliness. Even though it was destroyed it is still colorful and seems somehow arranged. His work involved a lot of people, the people in his work for the most part seem to be in the middle of something. They show motion and emotion in a fluid manner.

I was very intrigued by Cindy Sherman's work. It was very vintage which draws my attention. It was also very feminine and the scenery was also very catching. She seemed to show different feminine stylization in her work. I enjoyed looking through her works.I felt the MOMA had the best assortment of Sherman's work.
